Steve Clarke speaks to the media as he is unveiled as the new Scotland National Team Head Coach.
Part 1. Def Leppard's enigmatic and dearly beloved guitarist Steve Clark is discussed post-humously in detail by bandmate, best friend, & fellow guitarist Phil Collen. Collen shares fascinating tidbits about Clark's influences and musical preferences to performance style. There are a few pieces of bonus trivia about gear and loved guitar riffs too. A selection of 20 questions was created by avid Steve Clark fan Valerie Roulo and submitted to be shared via www.steveclarkguitar.com. This interview is first in the four part series. I was lucky to have known him, worked with him, but most of all we were great friends and I was proud to be taking care of his guitars. He was a diamond character, I will always remember him for the unabashed respect/love of life we shared. We all miss you pal" - Malvin Mortimer (Friend & Tour Manager) ___________________ LISTEN TO DEF LEPPARD: https://UMe.lnk.to/DefLeppardDigital Apple/iTunes: https://DefLeppard.lnk.to/itunesapple Spotify: https://UMe.lnk.to/DefLeppardDigital/spotify Amazon: https://UMe.lnk.to/DefLeppardDigital/Amazon Deezer: https://UMe.lnk.to/DefLeppardDigital/Deezer Pandora: https://UMe.lnk.to/DefLeppardDigital/pandora FOLLOW DEF LEPPARD: Website: http://www.DefLeppard.com/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/DefLeppard Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DefLeppard Twitter: https://twitter.com/DefLeppard YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/defleppard Publisher: http://www.PrimaryWave.com

Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords of Steve Clark. The late-great Steve Clark from Def Leppard was a rock and roll chordal architect and created some interesting chord voicings and progressions in the early music of Def Leppard. Even as their sound changed around the album Hysteria, his unique stamp on chords, progressions, and songwriting is clearly evident. It's reported that he wrote 90% of Def Leppard's music/riffs and their music has clearly changed since his passing. Nothing against the group and their music now, but I feel he was an important and central figure in their music and overall sound and prefer the older music/albums. Video clip begins at main solo section. From In The Round In Your Face Live - Def Leppard official video. Hysteria World Tour 1988. I DO NOT OWN THIS MATERIAL.
Steve discusses the bands type of music. This was recorded for the 1989 BBC Rock of Ages Documentary, but this part and a couple of other Sav clips I have didn’t make it on to the finished cut.
