Salsa Ti Fargo with Firestarter carbon fork, 3x9 xt, sugino build. King headset, king hubs. What a fantastic ride!
In this week's Bar Side Chat, Scott and Jay P talk about the Salsa Fargo. The Fargo is a drop bar adventure touring mountain bike. The Bike is designed around the Salsa Woodchipper handlebars. The handlebars have tons of hand positions which can give you lots of options to relieve stress on your hands and wrists. The Fargo is an incredibly comfortable workhorse for touring and bike packing. Come into the shop and ride one of our Fargos today.

Upgrades. Gear. Experiences.
Bombing around San Tan Mountain Regional Park in Queen Creek, AZ, on a 2014 Salsa Fargo II. I love this bike. It has the carbon Firestarter rigid fork, and I have it set up with custom wheels by Peter White: Velocity Blunt 35 rims, a Specialized Fast Trak Control in the rear, and a Bontrager Chupacabra 29x3 up front. Great setup. http://salsacycles.com/bikes/fargo http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/ San Tan is one of my favorite local rides. Great trails, beautiful scenery. 2 Salsa Fargos? What The Heck?
This is just a short clip of building up the Salsa Fargo. We'll do a full review and breakdown of what we think of this. Is it really a do all touring bike? We'll find out! This is the 2018 Tiagra build. Wes is swapping over from his Specialized AWOL after a few years on that. Out of the box, this looks promising. My 45 day adventure along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR). Alex and I traveled northbound, against the grain, due to our early start date - May 20. At 2,768 miles, it is the longest off-road bike route in the world. The route follows the continental divide crossing it over 30 times and gaining over 200,000 feet in elevation. Bikes: Salsa Fargo 2 (me); Surly Krampus (Alex) Both used Revelate Designs frame, seat, and handlebar bags.
First proper ride on my new stock Salsa Fargo 3 2015. Never imagined a bike with a fixed fork to be that much fun. More info here: http://mtbikepacking.wordpress.com.
