how to gap the ignition coil on a chainsaw (stihl ms211c). The best way to measure the gap would be with a feeler gauge, but I have been able to get pretty close with some folded card stock.
Does your chainsaw only run until it gets warm, or will it not even start at all? It could be that you have weak or no spark at all at the spark plug. Watch as I show you how to repair this problem. A very simple but highly effective method(when done properly) which I have always used to confirm if a spark plug is/is not the cause of engine starting and/or performance problems. Why run to the store and buy a new spark plug as a gamble, which may not be inexpensive, when you can verify if the plug is the problem using your digital multimeter. Save time and money! No method is 100%, but this method has been proven to work the great majority of the time. I decided to upload this video when I discovered that not too many people knew about this simple, effective spark plug test. **RULE OUT SPARK PLUG WIRES with my other video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z69tkCfc9n4 **For GREAT deals(Usually cheaper than EBAY) on neodymium magnets, Fidget Spinners, electronics, drones, automotive tools, household items, phone accessories, locksmith tools, & much more, please visit the link below and SAVE IT AS A BOOKMARK on your computer or smartphone to Banggood for future purchases. If your chain saw is hard to start and is not running smoothly, it could be a simple carb adjustment.

Like most people, I can't stand the new style "safety" spouts. They are the blight of lawnmower owners everywhere. I show you how to retrofit those pain in the rump gas can spouts with an actual normal spout you can get at Tractor Supply Co. I thought I'd have to take my Stihl MS170 in for an expensive repair when it slowed down and would take forever to cut through a log. Then by chance I found a youtube video that reminded me of what happened when my Honda 350 generator's exhaust screen fouled. The trouble with that video was it never said "slows" or 'loses power.' "Bogs down" was not a term I'd ever heard before. So I wanted to do a video describing in simple, not esoteric terms, what was happening. All the videos that came up had to do with fixing or cleaning the carburetor. If your chainsaw slows down try this.
Sometimes you need to remove a chainsaw flywheel without the proper tools. This is a tutorial on how to easily remove a flywheel without damaging the flywheel, crankshaft, or crankcase. This is removing the flywheel on a Stihl 034 chainsaw. I don't think the flywheel has ever been removed on this saw.
