The Throttle Lock simply replaces the right hand side bar end weight, and by turning the adjustment wheel, the Throttle Lock applies pressure onto the end of the twist grip, reducing or cancelling out the effect of the return spring The adjustment wheel has wide-spaced teeth that allow easy adjustment, even while wearing gloves, so it can be dialed in for exactly the required pressure. With our extendable adjuster it becomes an easy and simple task! The adjustment knob can be pulled outward by 25 mm (~ 1"), and it can then be gripped and turned properly using the whole hand with much less effort than before. When adjustment is complete, simply push the knob back in. The internal ball and spring mechanism ensures the adjuster is easy to pull/push into position. In addition to allowing adjustable reach, they are also adjustable in length. These levers allow precise adjustment to exactly suit the needs of the rider in various situations and additionally, really look great. Adjusted all the way in, the levers are about 1/2 inch closer to the grip however it actually feels like more because the shape of the lever is more parallel to the handlebar than the stock lever. Particularly with the powerful Integral-ABS system, a shorter lever can offer more precise control with less effort.
