Susanville to Klamath Falls: Cali 139, Oregon 39

Susanville to Klamath Falls: Cali 139, Oregon 39

Enjoy the scenic drive through the somewhat empty northeast corner of California, and a bit of southern Oregon, in this reverse-cam drivelapse. The video begins in Susanville, and follows California 139, then Oregon 39, to Klamath Falls. MyDrivelapse.com and Takemytrip.com provide driving videos and stories to help you plan your trip. Check out hundreds of videos on my YouTube channel. Subscribe if you like it! Dozens of new videos are on the way in the coming weeks. I made this trip in August, 2015. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens). Interstate 5 Southbound thru Oregon: Turner, Albany, Eugene

Interstate 5 Southbound thru Oregon: Turner, Albany, Eugene

This video begins near Turner, Oregon (just south of Salem, near the Enchanted Forest) and heads south on Interstate 5 through Albany and Eugene, until it gets too dark to see anything. You may notice the truck stop at Rice Hill near the end, but it's too dark to see much. But, along the way, it's beautiful! I-5 to Crater Lake, Part 3: Oregon Route 62 to South Entrance

I-5 to Crater Lake, Part 3: Oregon Route 62 to South Entrance

This drive finishes up the three-part series of videos, taking you from I-5 at Roseburg to the south entrance of Crater Lake National Park. This drive starts at Trail, Oregon, at the junction of 62 and 227, and follows 62 northeast to the south entrance of the park. Yes, it would have been quicker to drive from Roseburg to the North Entrance, but it was closed due to a wildfire. You'll notice the smoke (and some roadblocks) along the way.
