Januar 2013 präsentiert die Sparkasse, die eigens produzierte Live-Show „A Tribute to Freddie Mercury" in Hattingen. Sie ist eine Hommage an den großen Entertainer der Rockmusik. Das Rock-Spektakel lässt mit allen großen Queen-Hits wie "I want to break free", "Radio Ga Ga" und dem grandiosen „We are the Champions" das unglaublich breite Queen-Spektrum von Glamrock, Rap bis hin zu opernhaft anmutenden Stücken wieder aufleben. Die Musiker Harry Rose als Freddie Mercury und Stefan Pfeiffer als Brian May sind durch ihre verblüffende Ähnlichkeit von ihren Vorbildern -- auch stimmlich! -- kaum zu unterscheiden. Mit einer aufwändigen Lichtshow, Pyrotechnik und originalgetreuen Outfits nimmt die Show Queen-Fans mit auf eine Reise in die Glanzzeiten der Kultband.
