How to Keep Your Shirt Tucked In (3 Different Methods You Can Try)

Follow TMM on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ Have you ever had a perfectly good tuck ruined when you lifted your arms up to grab something? Every man has experienced the frustration of his shirt coming untucked throughout the day - sometimes over and over again. And it sucks because a sloppy tuck or the "muffin top" look completely ruins your style. A clean, neat tuck is required if you want to look put together and sharp - especially for business casual outfits. Thanks to KKandJay for sponsoring this video! http://www.kkandjay.com So how do you stop your shirt from coming untucked all the time? I have three methods you can use, and they're all completely different from each other. I recommend you try each one. But if you really want to keep your shirt tucked in, definitely get yourself some shirttail garters like the ones I'm wearing from KK & Jay. 01:01 Technique #1: Shirt Stays 03:02 Technique #2: Rubber Grips 04:00 Technique #3: The “Undertuck” FULL POST: http://www.themodestman.com/keep-your-shirt-tucked-in/ — SHOP THE VIDEO Garters: http://www.kkandjay.com/ Shirt: http://www.themodestman.com/blank-label Pants: https://www.oliverwicks.com/ Shoes: http://geni.us/Z9CXjD Socks: https://www.viccel.com/ Boxers: http://geni.us/1x2ftXJ Undershirt: http://mdst.mn/2dj8jp4 — MY GEAR ▪ Canon T6i → http://geni.us/4kSX ▪ Laptop → http://fave.co/2hgKaDF ▪ Laptop stand → http://fave.co/2vQwBj3 ▪ Lens #1 (50mm) → http://geni.us/OiE9 ▪ Lens #2 (10-18mm) → http://geni.us/qgGQckE ▪ Lens #3 (24mm) → http://geni.us/x61A ▪ Lav mic → http://geni.us/ZBlvGh ▪ Desk mic → http://geni.us/wCdS7t2 — YOUTUBE MUSIC → https://goo.gl/UhwtMb — STYLE GUIDES ▪ Free E-Books → http://mdst.mn/guide-pack ▪ Premium Guide → http://mdst.mn/tmmsg — FOLLOW ME ▪ Podcast → http://fave.co/2vej94M ▪ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ ▪ Twitter → https://twitter.com/modestmanstyle ▪ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/modestmanblog/ ▪ Private Group → https://www.facebook.com/groups/modestmen — Contains affiliate links // Stay stylish!

How to Look Taller and Leaner | 5 Style Principles You Should Follow

How to Look Taller and Leaner | 5 Style Principles You Should Follow

Follow TMM on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ There are certain techniques you can use to make sure your clothing and accessories are making you look as tall and lean as possible. Obviously, your clothes can't actually MAKE you taller, but they can have a visible impact on your perceived stature. In this video, I teach you five style principles you can use to make sure your clothes and accessories are working FOR you, not against you. Here are the five tips: 00:54 #1: Make sure your clothes fit 02:36 #2: Make sure your accessories are proportionate 03:53 #3: Don't cut yourself in half with contrast 05:03 #4: Wear small scale patterns 06:00 #5: Avoid low-rise pants If you follow these five principles, you will look like the lean, handsome devil you really are. And if you want more "dress tall" tips, check out my free guide (link below). And remember: there's NOTHING wrong with being short. If anyone tell you differently, they're just insecure about their own body and personality. Don't worry about your height. Instead, focus on things you can actually control, like trying to dress well every single day! — SPONSOR: http://www.the5th.co/ — SHOP THE VIDEO ▪ Shirt: https://www.tailorstore.com/ ▪ Watch: http://www.the5th.co/products/aki/ — MY GEAR ▪ Canon T6i → http://geni.us/4kSX ▪ Laptop → http://fave.co/2hgKaDF ▪ Laptop stand → http://fave.co/2vQwBj3 ▪ Lens #1 (50mm) → http://geni.us/OiE9 ▪ Lens #2 (10-18mm) → http://geni.us/qgGQckE ▪ Lens #3 (24mm) → http://geni.us/x61A ▪ Lav mic → http://geni.us/ZBlvGh ▪ Desk mic → http://geni.us/wCdS7t2 — YOUTUBE MUSIC → https://goo.gl/UhwtMb — STYLE GUIDES ▪ Free E-Books → http://mdst.mn/guide-pack ▪ Premium Guide → http://mdst.mn/tmmsg — FOLLOW ME ▪ Podcast → http://fave.co/2vej94M ▪ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ ▪ Twitter → https://twitter.com/modestmanstyle ▪ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/modestmanblog/ ▪ Private Group → https://www.facebook.com/groups/modestmen — Contains affiliate links // Stay stylish!

6 Men's Style Hacks EVERY Man Should Know | Fashion Hacks for Men

6 Men's Style Hacks EVERY Man Should Know | Fashion Hacks for Men

Follow TMM on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ You already know that style is all about the details. The little things can make or break your entire look, so it's important to get them right. There's such a fine line between effortless and sloppy, isn't there? No one wants to look sloppy. We all want to look sharp but also like we're not trying too hard. Oftentimes this means getting your clothes tailored or buying custom clothing. But there are some lesser known "hacks" that are very easy and very cheap, if not free. You just have to know about them. And today I'm going to teach you my 6 favorite style hacks for men. 01:53 HACK #1: The DIY Shirt Collar Adjustment Ever put on a dress shirt with a collar that's just a little too tight, which is uncomfortable, or just a little too loose, which looks sloppy? Here's the quick DIY fix you can do at hime in just a few minutes - no tailoring or sewing machine required. Mini Sewing Kit: http://geni.us/tJ5lYj 03:10 HACK #2: Fix "Fly Away" Collars You know how when you get a new polo, the collar has a nice crisp shape, and it lays nice and flat on your shirt? But then, a few months later, the collar takes on a life of its own and starts to warp and fly away like it's trying to leave you for another shirt? 04:10 HACK #3: Use the "J. Crew" Sleeve Roll When wearing a button up shirt without a tie or jacket, rolling up your sleeves can be very rugged and masculine. Not to mention, countless surveys have shown that a man's arms are one of the most attractive parts of his body. The best way to achieve the above-the-elbow roll is by using the so-called "J. Crew" roll, which was actually popularized by John F. Kennedy. This happens to be one of the faster ways to roll up your sleeves, so it's a win-win. 05:39 HACK #4: Cuff Your T-Shirt Sleeves If you've ever worn a t-shirt with sleeves that are too long, you know that it can make you feel (and look) like a little kid. The solution is simple and stylish - cuff the sleeves once or twice depending on the length. Ideally, they would stop halfway between your elbow and arm pit. 06:51 HACK #5: Pinroll Your Pants If your pants are too long AND too wide, but you don't have time to get them tailored, you can use a cuffing technique called the pinroll to shorten AND taper them - simultaneously. How to Pinroll Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDanzC9Nrnw 07:38 HACK #6: Shorten Your Shoelaces Like so many things in the world of clothing and accessories, most shoelaces are one size fits all. So you get a new pair of shoes, lace 'em up and tie a single knot, and you've got these huge bunny ears flopping around with every step you take. It's not a clean look, and it's also a tripping hazard. Heat Shrink Tubing: http://amzn.to/2rp8Xph Detailed Tutorial: http://mdst.mn/shorten-shoelaces I hope you can use 1 or 2 of these tips to help elevate your style. And if you have any "hacks" or tricks to add to the list, leave them down in the comments. — SHOP THE VIDEO ▪ Shirt → https://fave.co/2sCfKzU (similar) ▪ Polo → https://fave.co/2vbv0TZ (similar) ▪ Watch → http://geni.us/8z3Ijq ▪ Strap → http://geni.us/2CAC9 — MY GEAR ▪ Canon T6i → http://geni.us/4kSX ▪ Laptop → http://fave.co/2hgKaDF ▪ Laptop stand → http://fave.co/2vQwBj3 ▪ Lens #1 (50mm) → http://geni.us/OiE9 ▪ Lens #2 (10-18mm) → http://geni.us/qgGQckE ▪ Lens #3 (24mm) → http://geni.us/x61A ▪ Lav mic → http://geni.us/ZBlvGh ▪ Desk mic → http://geni.us/wCdS7t2 — YOUTUBE MUSIC → https://goo.gl/UhwtMb — STYLE GUIDES ▪ Free E-Books → http://mdst.mn/guide-pack ▪ Premium Guide → http://mdst.mn/tmmsg — FOLLOW ME ▪ Podcast → http://fave.co/2vej94M ▪ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ ▪ Twitter → https://twitter.com/modestmanstyle ▪ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/modestmanblog/ ▪ Private Group → https://www.facebook.com/groups/modestmen — Contains affiliate links // Stay stylish!

The Only 3 Watches You Really Need | Beginner Watch Collection for Men

FAVORITE WATCH: http://geni.us/t0NUuF 2018 COLLECTION: https://youtu.be/eTG08C1NDts Here's a budget friendly watch collection that consists of just three watches and costs less than $500 total (for all three). If you want to have a watch for every occasion (casual, business casual, formal, etc.), but you don't want to (or can't) spend a ton of money buying watches, this is the perfect watch collection for you. Note: This is NOT a sponsored video. 01:41 #1: Casual / Timex Weekender - http://geni.us/3yxA50y 03:12 #2: Diver / Seiko SKX013 - http://geni.us/W7ob8 05:10 #3: Dress / The 5th Tribeca - http://www.the5th.co/products/tribeca/ If you have some extra cash and want to expand your watch collection, I recommend adding a fourth watch that's totally different than the first three (like my all black watch from The 5th), or buying some extra straps for your watches that have interchangeable bands. Remember: no matter your budget, it's a good idea to have a watch for every occasion, especially formal occasions. You can always upgrade your watches later on, so there's nothing wrong with buying affordable watches right now. Of course, if money isn't an issue and you don't mind spending it on watches, you could always buy higher end versions of these three watches - casual, dive and dress. — SHOP THE VIDEO ▪ Button up: http://mdst.mn/2gbqRp2 ▪ Pullover: http://rstyle.me/n/b82kg2n4v6 * — MY GEAR ▪ Canon T6i → http://geni.us/4kSX ▪ Laptop → http://fave.co/2hgKaDF ▪ Laptop stand → http://fave.co/2vQwBj3 ▪ Lens #1 (50mm) → http://geni.us/OiE9 ▪ Lens #2 (10-18mm) → http://geni.us/qgGQckE ▪ Lens #3 (24mm) → http://geni.us/x61A ▪ Lav mic → http://geni.us/ZBlvGh ▪ Desk mic → http://geni.us/wCdS7t2 — YOUTUBE MUSIC → https://goo.gl/UhwtMb — STYLE GUIDES ▪ Free E-Books → http://mdst.mn/guide-pack ▪ Premium Guide → http://mdst.mn/tmmsg — FOLLOW ME ▪ Podcast → http://fave.co/2vej94M ▪ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ ▪ Twitter → https://twitter.com/modestmanstyle ▪ Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/modestmanblog/ ▪ Private Group → https://www.facebook.com/groups/modestmen — Contains affiliate links // Stay stylish!

And it sucks to buy something that doesn’t live up to your expectations. You feel like you wasted your hard earned money! But today, I want to talk about 6 products that I absolutely love. Pomade vs. Putty: What's the difference?

Pomade vs. Putty: What's the difference?

Follow TMM on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/modestmanstyle/ Ever wonder what the difference is between pomade and putty? Which is the best men's hair product for you? In this video, I compare pomade vs. putty, and even show you what each product looks like when it's wet AND dry (a couple hours after putting it in my hair). Pomade is typically a medium to high hold hair product with at least a little bit of shine to it (although this pomade from Old Spice has a matte finish). Putty, on the other hand, is usually a high hold hair product with little to no shine (a matte finish). Watch me test out Old Spice's pomade and putty to show you the different between these two products. I'll style my hair with each to show you what it looks like fresh (right after a shower with towel dried hair). Then I'll let my hair dry for a couple of hours and show you what each product looks like in dry hair. If you have any questions or comments, leave a comment below. I read them all! Don't Know Your Face Shape? Here's How to Find Sunglasses

AT HOME TRY ON: http://mdst.mn/try-wp If you've ever searched for how to pick the best sunglasses for your face, you've probably seen the same old advice over and over about face shapes. The thing is, nobody actually has a heart shaped face or a diamond shaped face or a pear shaped face. Most people find the "face shape" method for choosing sunglasses very confusing, and not very helpful. So I came up with an alternative (and better) way to figure out what kind of sunglasses will look best on your face. Don't worry, it has nothing to do with face shapes! All of the sunglasses you see in this video are from Warby Parker (link below). I love using their free home try-on program to test out different types of sunglasses without going to the store. What You Need to Know Before Buying Elevator Shoes

What You Need to Know Before Buying Elevator Shoes

Ever think about wearing elevator shoes? They can be a great way for shorter men to stand a couple of inches taller. But the problem is, most height increasing shoes are downright ugly, uncomfortable and poorly made. Just because you're buying elevator shoes doesn't mean you have to sacrifice style, quality or comfort. In fact, you should hold your "tall shoes" to the same standards as any other shoe in your shoe collection. So how do you find a good pair of elevator shoes? I'll talk about what to lookout for when you're in the market for a pair of elevator shoes that's comfortable, stylish and well made. This video was sponsored by Don's Footwear.
