An ominous, 'Hans Zimmer' style remix of the fortress theme from Super Mario World, in honour of my recent 1000 subscriber milestone. Thanks to all you beautiful bastards for making my channel slightly less irrelevant :D I haven't been very active on this channel lately, but that is about to change. I'm altering the upload schedule to fortnightly on Thursday evenings, and I'm gonna kick my Patreon + a channel trailer + some marketing tactics and a few other things into gear in the near future. Now that I have 1000 subs, I may as well make something out of this. ======== Subscribe for more (every fortnight) ► https://www.youtube.com/c/manicpixelmusic?sub_confirmation=1 Check out my Soundcloud for a higher quality version + download ► https://soundcloud.com/manic-pixel Follow my Tumblr ► http://manicpixelmusic.tumblr.com/ Support my Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/user?u=3870182 ======== Kind regards to Ry for their amazing artwork: http://tinycartridge.com/post/484371515/the-final-level-by-ry-click-for-a-larger And of course, kudos to Koji Kondo for writing this song in the first place.
An Orchestrated version of the Original Paper Mario Story Title Theme. This took me a while to do so please throw a like, comment and or subscribe to help me out! I will take attempt re-orchestration of other songs at your request!(key word being attempt!) if you would like the mp3 like the video and send me a pm and I will send you a link! Thanks!
Hey guys, this is my orchestrated mix of the end theme of Super Mario RPG. This game was very close to my heart. Always has; a very beautiful game. I hope my orchestration does the original justice. This is for all of you guys that helped me get 800k views. 2:08 is because I didn't want to record the whole video from a SNES rom. xP So I just grabbed it from youtube.
My second version. Much, much better than the first.
My orchestration of the Super Mario 64 ending theme. (See more on my SoundCloud profile: https://soundcloud.com/dangurn) All credit to original composer, Koji Kondo. RIP Mr. Satoru Iwata. (Image credit: Offclouds.com).
I know, the original Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack was orchestrated, but I decided to orchestrate it myself to see how it would turn out. It was orchestrated with EWQL Symphonic Orchestra. How did it turn out?

Super Paper Mario was a good game, regardless of the hate it got. It has it's flaws, yeah, but what game doesn't? I always like Flipside, and often wondered about doing a remix of it's theme, so in June of 2012 I re-orchestrated it! I am really happy with this song, and had a lot of fun experimenting with the celesta! I hope you like it! Dedicated to Chuggaaconroy and his Let's Play of Super Paper Mario which was so fun to watch, and really, really helpful! I took a VERY short loop from the original game and made it much longer with much more variety. I, personally, love it. There are a few sounds that aren't in a traditonal orchestra, like the pan flute and the church choir, but other than that, it's a pretty solid ensemble. Anyway, please enjoy it! I highly recommend using high-quality headphones and viewing this in HD.
Man, it was annoying having to wait an entire month passed the release date of Hollywood Orchestral Woodwinds to finally get my hands on it. It was sorta worth it, some of the instruments' legato weren't done as well as the Brass or Strings. Well anyway, I'd thought of re-creating the Super Mario Galaxy Staff Roll music using my orchestral libraries to see how close I could replicate it. Just as a way of returning back to orchestrating and remixing. Yes, I know, it's not EXACTLY the same as the original, I know some articulations aren't the same, I know some instruments aren't placed in the same way, I know certain instruments seem louder than in the original, and I know the original didn't have a choir. Mixing the Hollywood instruments with Symphonic Orchestra was a pain because the hollywood instruments are pretty dry while the SO instruments are very reverberated naturally. I had to come up with something to even things out. Even though I only used the Percussion from SO, it does sound a bit odd mixed in with the rest, as if they're not really in the same place. Well, anyway, here's the staff roll music done my way. And, enjoy! :) MP3: http://www.mediafire.com/?m4eo1d8msu6amam
