Yes - Roundabout

"Roundabout" by Yes Year: 1971 Album: Fragile Lyrics: I'll be the roundabout The words will make you out an' out You spend the day your way Call it morning driving Through the south In an' out the valley The music, dance and sing They make the children really ring I spend the day your way Call it morning driving Through the south In an' out the valley In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky And they stand there One mile over we'll be there And we'll see you Ten true summers we'll be back And laughing too Twenty four before my love You'll see, I'll be there with you I will remember you Your silhouette will charge the view Of distant atmosphere Call it morning driving Through the south Even in the valley In and around the lake, woh Mountains come out of the sky And they stand there One mile over we'll be there And we'll see you Come again Ten true summers we'll be back And laughing too, oh, oh Twenty four before my love You'll see I'll be there with you Along the drifting cloud The eagle searching down on the land Catching the swirling wind The sailor sees the rim of the land The eagles dancing wings Create as weather spins out of hand Go closer hold the land Feel partly no more than grains of sand We stand to lose all time A thousand answers by in our hand Next to your deeper fears We stand surrounded by a million years I'll be the roundabout The words will make you out an' out I'll be the roundabout The words will make you out an' out In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky And they stand there Twenty four before my love I'll be there (Feels like) I'll be the roundabout The words will make you out an' out You spend the day your way Call it morning driving Through the south In and out the valley In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky And they stand there One mile over we'll be there And we'll see you Ten true summers we'll be back And laughing too Twenty four before my love You'll see I'll be there with you There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na, na There with you na, na

Yes Roundabout with Geddy Lee on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2017

Progressive rock band Yes are inductees at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 7, 2017, broadcast on HBO. The band’s co-founding frontman Jon Anderson reunited for a performance of Roundabout from 1971 Fragile with Rush bassist Geddy Lee, guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, guitarist Trevor Rabin and drummer Alan White. Anderson and late bassist Chris Squire established Yes in 1968. Squire, Anderson and Bill Bruford, Steve Howe, Alan White, Rick Wakeman, Tony Kaye and Trevor Rabin make up the official Yes lineup going into the Rock Hall. Although Bill Bruford came onstage to accept his award, the original Yes drummer did not perform. Anderson last performed as a member of Yes in 2004 and officially left the group in 2008 after a fallout with his band mates. “We’re definitely connected,” said Anderson. “It’s a family. There’s always animosity. People that you love you don’t always like, and there’s always going to be that. But when you’re celebrating who you truly are, you forget about all that and just get on with meeting each other and seeing each other, and it’s just one of those things. It’s not a problem; We’ll just get together and have fun. Music is a healing force on every level.” Along with Yes, Pearl Jam, Journey, Joan Baez, Electric Light Orchestra and Tupac Shakur were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The 2017 ceremony also includes Nile Rodgers of Chic receiving the Award For Musical Excellence.

Just neck knob at full - Gear Sound: Added high-mids and treble. Some extra gain on the amp. Clear strings may help, i didn't have any. - About The Song: To get the main riff first start slow and get the notes well, it's easier than it looks. I think many questions will apply on some parts so i'll be anwering them separately on comments. Transcribed from studio version with help of isolated bass tracks, and live videos Need more tips?
