Easy Instructions for Printing at Texas Tech University. 1. Create your document using Microsoft Word. 2. Once you are ready to print your document, in the Word Document, click ‘File’ in the upper left-hand corner. 3. Click ‘Print’ in the left column. 4. There is a box under “Printer” with a drop-down menu. Select the option that reads “WEPA-BW”, or if printing in color, select the option reads “WEPA-COLOR.” Then click the Printer icon captioned ‘Print.’ 5. The WEPA page will appear. Make sure the number of pages is correct and then click ‘Proceed.’ 6. The e-raider page will appear. Sign in using your Texas Tech credentials. 7. Once you are signed in the WEPA page will reappear showing your release code. Click ‘OK.’ 8. Walk to the nearest WEPA printer. If printing in color be sure to find a color-printer. 9. Insert your Tech-ID into the card-port underneath the touch-screen captioned, “Insert Card and Remove Quickly.” 10. On the next screen the document(s) that you have sent to the WEPA printer will appear. Use your finger to select the document(s) that you wish to print by pressing the corresponding box to the left of the document title. If your document does not appear on the WEPA printer, type in the release code provided on your computer screen in order to locate it. 11. Use your finger to press the box “Campus Card” near the bottom right-hand corner of the page. This box will show the amount that will be charged to your campus card. If you do not have sufficient funds on your card, the screen will prompt you to add funds. Ignore the boxes captioned “WEPA print card” and “WEPA account.” 12. Wait for your document(s) to complete printing before you remove them from the printer.
