This fantastic balcony stateroom was ours aboard the Norwegian Sun, facing the rear of the ship. The interior is similar to a standard balcony cabin, but the balcony itself is noticeably larger-- and features a broader opening to the sky. Tour the NCL Sun here: http://youtu.be/bC2xPpOarlw. We enjoyed having a traditional chair, a chaise lounge, and a small table outside. Our view was amazing. And the ship's wake generated some striking blue shades in the water. The only downside was some occasional noise from the deck below, which is a crew area behind the Dazzles theater. Norwegian classifies this cabin as category B1. It's room number 8078. Video shot with an Olympus Stylus Tough 8020 point-and-shoot camera.
We took a 7-day Caribbean Cruise on the Norwegian Getaway from April 19-26, 2014. This video was filmed with an iPhone 5 and in 7-minutes shows a quick sample of what we saw and did at the ports we visited. We visited Philipsburg, St. Maartin, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, and Nassau, Bahamas. This cruise departed from the Port of Miami.
