Trying out the new GSG mp40 at the range.
Discussing and firing ATI's new GSG MP40. A neat little replica of the venerable WWII classic mp40 sub-machine gun of Wehrmacht fame. Available now at General Coin and Gun Exchange in Eau Claire Wi.! General Coin and Gun Exchange website: http://www.generalcoin.com
A quick run down on the GSG MP40 .22lr rifle.
ATI makes some very neat looking .22lr guns, both in the form of modern and classic weapons that actually shoot and cost a fraction of the price of the real deal. Their latest offering is the iconic MP40 in .22lr that looks and feels a lot like the real deal, but how does it shoot? Well, Miles and Alex hit the range to find out! Battle of the .22 replicas! These things shouldn't be this much fun.... But I could shoot them all day.
In this unboxing video we talk about the New MP40 9mm clone from GSG & ATI. A very cool $500 9mm pistol legal to own without a tax stamp and won't break the bank. https://www.facebook.com/honestoutlawreviews/ Here is a link to donate to a local shelter in Ames Iowa that could use your support http://www.yss.ames.ia.us/index.cfm?nodeID=20799 My Patreon Account https://www.patreon.com/user?u=5593286
In this video, I discuss the differences between the GSG MP40 pistol and an original WWII MP40. This is a table-top comparison and side by side overview. Enjoy. Thanks!
A thread came up on Facebook earlier today about modifying the ATI/GSG MP40 pistol with a stock. The individual doing this had not filed the paperwork or tax stamp through the ATF. This can create serious problems for you. Note: Some people brought up the PPS43 pistols as a defense. These were manufactured by a license manufacturer, and not only did they weld the stocks they took out a lot of the parts on the folding stocks. If you broke the welds or added the needed parts - you would be in violation of NFA. So this comparison is not correct. Once they made the weapons, modified them out of SBR status as a manufacturer, they sold them as PISTOLS. They were classified as pistols. I don't like the NFA as much as the next person, but it is still the law of the land and your freedom rests on whether or not you do things right. 600 for a pistol...200 for a tax stamp...a few months of waiting...100 bucks or so in stock parts once you get the OK...it's not difficult and you walk out the door with a 1000 dollar SBR which is cheap for an SBR. Please be smart and please be lawful in this.
