http://weldmongerstore.com/ http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/mig-welding-co2.html mig welding with co2 gas. why? because i was running out of 90/10 argon/co2 while doing some pulse mig spray. Switched over to co2 gas for the non critical welds. using co2 gas requires different settings for voltage. Higher voltage settings are needed than for mix gas like c25.
http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/mig-welding-pulse.html http://weldmongerstore.com/ Using a Lincoln Mig Welder (powermig 350mp) to do some pulse spray mig welding on heavy steel. Wall thickness on the square tubing is 3/8" or about 10mm. Some of the plates are 1 inch thick on the end used as counterbalance weights . Lots of tee joint welds, and also some flare bevel welds where the rolled edge of the tubing joints a flat surface. Learning the effects of the trim setting when using pulse mig.
http://weldmongerstore.com/ Why would someone want a 3 in 1 welder that wont tig weld aluminum? It helps to think about these multiprocess mig/tig/stick welders as a mig welder that can also tig weld thin stainless and stick weld too.

Winter break was near and my instructor announced that a nearby shop was hiring welders. So I went to test for the job. I bombed out on the mig welding vertical tee joint test , but I go hired anyway as a stick welder. My job was to weld the mast head support for mobile drilling rigs. It was high strength steel and I sat on a 5 gallon bucket all day welding with 3/16" diameter 11018 rods.
Ever wonder which is stronger? Each method has its own group of loyal "users", and its own advantages and drawbacks... I'll be honest, which you should use is simply personal preference 99% of the time, but I decided to make a video, and do a simple break test comparison of the two. Enjoy!! I review both Titanium 200 and the Vulcan Omnipro 220 welders to see the differences between them and I test out the new Titanium to see how it welds. I find it strange that Harbor freight is selling both of these multi process welders. I want to see what one is the best welder for the price.
The Fronius Magicwave 230i is one extremely impressive machine. Everything from the build quality to the feature list is above and beyond what you would expect from a machine in its price category. This machine is absolutely incredible, but as is with other TFS reviews - we have the features along with the likes and dislikes in this extremely thorough review. for a detailed article on this topic go to http://goo.gl/abO4Pi visit the store here http://weldmongerstore.com/ this Mig welding test is used mostly as a preparation for pipe welding. The settings that you get dialed in for plate will also translate just fine over to pipe welding. Downhill root and uphill fill and cap is pretty common for pipe shops.
