http://weldmongerstore.com/ http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/mig-welding-co2.html mig welding with co2 gas. why? because i was running out of 90/10 argon/co2 while doing some pulse mig spray. Switched over to co2 gas for the non critical welds. using co2 gas requires different settings for voltage. Higher voltage settings are needed than for mix gas like c25.
http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/mig-welding-pulse.html http://weldmongerstore.com/ Using a Lincoln Mig Welder (powermig 350mp) to do some pulse spray mig welding on heavy steel. Wall thickness on the square tubing is 3/8" or about 10mm. Some of the plates are 1 inch thick on the end used as counterbalance weights . Lots of tee joint welds, and also some flare bevel welds where the rolled edge of the tubing joints a flat surface. Learning the effects of the trim setting when using pulse mig.
I am often asked the same question: how to choose the right current for welding? Experienced welders, by the way, from the first seconds of welding process can tell is it OK with the current, or NO. I`m not going to discuss about this complex subject, I decided to show how this can be done practically.

for a detailed article on this topic go to http://goo.gl/abO4Pi visit the store here http://weldmongerstore.com/ this Mig welding test is used mostly as a preparation for pipe welding. The settings that you get dialed in for plate will also translate just fine over to pipe welding. Downhill root and uphill fill and cap is pretty common for pipe shops.
This is a semi automatic process of welding where wire of different sizes used as filler wire to weld the gap between two surfaces. The power source and wire feeder are the component of these machines. The wire feeders supply the filler wire continuously and torch produced flame and fill the gap between two surfaces by welding. Here Cruweld model is used for the demo. You can visit http://www.cruxweld.com/ for more details about the welding and cutting machines.
Ever wonder which is stronger? Each method has its own group of loyal "users", and its own advantages and drawbacks... I'll be honest, which you should use is simply personal preference 99% of the time, but I decided to make a video, and do a simple break test comparison of the two. Enjoy!! The Rail Runner Welding Carriage is a track carriage designed for establishing groove and fillet welds with or without oscillation using MIG/MAG welding torches with handle diameter of 16--25 mm (0.63--0.98''). The machine can work in PA (flat), PB (horizontal vertical), PC (horizontal), PF (vertical up), and PG (vertical down) welding positions. It moves along the track way fixed magnetically to ferromagnetic surfaces flat or curved with the minimum curvature radius of 5 m (16 ft). - See more at: http://steelmax.com/welding-carriages/rail-runner
