Because of that, there's a persistent fan theory across the internet that Stan "The Man" Lee is secretly playing the same Marvel comic book character in all of his cameos! Probably the most well-known theory is that he is playing Uatu the Watcher, but other ideas and theories have surfaced that range from him playing the villainous Kang the Conqueror, the enigmatic One-Above-All, or perhaps even a very lucky Time Lord. But Scott has one theory that blows them all out of the water. Stan Lee isn't even a Marvel character, but instead is portraying NerdSync's favorite magical imp, Mopee! Chthon (Marvel Comics) ⟪Wiki🔊Book⟫

Chthon (Marvel Comics) ⟪Wiki🔊Book⟫

'''Chthon''' is a fictional character, a demonic Elder God appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. His name derives from ''chthon'', the Greek word for earth and earthly, especially pertaining to earth that was not life giving soil, but dark like that of the grave or the underworld. In some instances, Chthon is portrayed as the Marvel equivalent of the primal Devil of some kind predating that of Judeo-Christian teachings, as his creations, the N'Garai, were driven from Earth by the angel Lucifer before his rebellion against God. Quote: A long time ago, when the world was so new nothing had a name, something woke up. It learned all about what was and what would be... but most of all it learned what couldn't be, what shouldn't be. And it gave those things names, names it wrote on indestructible pages, because a namer has mastery of the named.
