Can you imagine these puppies and other puppies being born right now what their plight is? We stopped in front of a house and when Katie started talking about Chocolate the dog, that they had spayed and returned to the family, a light-bulb went on, well 2 of them. This was the house of a dog that I photographed under a pick-up truck last December when we were in Houston. She was too shy to come out then, but now she was happy to visit with us. In another moment I realized that we were at the same spot where we came with Forgotten Dogs of the Fifth Ward to feed Mr. Woolsworth! It became very familiar when the toddler puppies came running out to say hello. So we were back at the house of a family who seems to have too many dogs to handle. The first step was to retrieve the brand new puppies which were laying in a pile underneath a dog house in the yard. There were 5 tiny puppies that Katie skillfully removed. They were only a few weeks old at best. When Anna realized that the puppies didn’t have teeth yet, she knew that they had to find their mama and take her with them as they were still nursing. The problem was that she had not come out to greet us and we couldn’t find her. In the meantime the toddler puppies were providing entertainment for all! Heroic Labrador rescues two dogs trapped in canoe

Heroic Labrador rescues two dogs trapped in canoe

When a gust of wind blew a feather-light canoe away from the gravel bar and into the river, two dogs ran and jumped inside it. Labs will retrieve anything, but what's amazing here is that one of the dogs in the canoe takes the rope and places it over the side and into the water for the Labrador to grab a hold of. Golden Retriever Saves Baby Deer From Drowning In Amazing Rescue

Golden Retriever Saves Baby Deer From Drowning In Amazing Rescue

This golden retriever has a baby deer in his mouth and he's doing something amazing. The dog named "Storm" is rescuing the drowning fawn. Mark Feely was filming Storm on the beach when the dog ran in after the fawn who was clearly struggling. Now, the video of the rescue is going viral. People can't believe the way Storm is looking after the fawn, almost as if he's resuscitating the stricken animal.

Do you have a hope? Please LIKE and SHARE! . . ►INFO : ANIMAL RESCUE An animal rescue group or animal rescue organization is dedicated to pet adoption. These groups take unwanted, abandoned, abused, or stray pets and attempt to find suitable homes for them. Many rescue groups are created by and run by volunteers, who take the animals into their homes and care for them — including training, playing, handling medical issues, and solving behavior problems — until a suitable permanent home can be found. ►Rescue groups exist for most pet types (reptile rescue, rabbit rescue or bird rescue), but are most common for dogs and cats. For animals with many breeds, rescue groups may specialize in specific breeds or groups of breeds. For example, there might be local Labrador Retriever rescue groups, hunting dog rescue groups, large-dog rescue groups, as well as general dog rescue groups. Animal rescue organizations have also been created to rescue and rehabilitate wild animals in inhumane situations, such as lions, tigers, and cheetahs. Many organizations are dedicated to saving wild animals that are used as sources of income in zoos, circuses, and other cruel circumstances. Widely recognized as an umbrella organization for animal rescue groups, Petfinder.org is an online, searchable database of more than 13,000 shelters and adoption agencies across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The American Kennel Club maintains a list of contacts, primarily within breed clubs, with information on breed rescue groups for purebred dogs in the United States. Animal shelters often work closely with rescue groups, because shelters that have difficulty placing otherwise healthy and pet-worthy animals would usually rather have the animal placed in a home than euthanized; while shelters might run out of room, rescue groups can often find volunteers with space in their homes for temporary placement. Some organizations (such as Old Dog Haven) work with older animals whose age would likely cause them to be euthanized in county pounds. Each year, approximately 3-4 million cats and dogs are euthanized in shelters due to overcrowding and a shortage of foster homes. ►In the United Kingdom, both shelter and rescue organisations are described using the blanket term rescue, whether they have their own premises, buy in accommodation from commercial kennels, or operate a network of foster homes, where volunteers keep the animals in their homes until adoption. Kennels that have a council contract to take in stray dogs are usually referred to as dog pounds. Some dog pounds also carry out rescue and rehoming work and are effectively rescue groups that operate a pound service. Some rescue groups work with pounds to move dogs to rescues. By law, a dog handed in as a stray to a UK pound must be held for seven days before it can be rehomed or euthanized. ►Widely recognized animal rescue organizations : ♥Animal Aid Unlimited, India ♥Hope For Paws - Official Rescue Channel ♥Vet Ranch ♥Animal Rescue Corps ♥H.O.M.E Animal Rescue ♥Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters ♥International Animal Rescue IAR ♥Wildlife Aid ♥The Humane Society of the United States ♥AMA Animal Rescue ♥Sezar Sanctuary ♥World Animal Awareness Society

Puppy covered in thousands of ticks and with embeded wire on her tail makes an amazing recovery

Puppy covered in thousands of ticks and with embeded wire on her tail makes an amazing recovery

Blossom has been adopted. Check out how happy she is at her new home: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb... Blossom was rescued by ZEIL: http://www.zeil.gr/ In July 24 2015 a puppy was spotted by one our volunteers in an urban area in Athens Greece. Although wandering the streets for weeks probably, she had been overseen or simply neglected. Her tail was already dead from embeded wire tied to it since she was a lot younger, and her body was covered in thousands of ticks. The tick colony had literaly drained her, and her blood test results showed that her blood was so thin that she wouldn't have survived the next few days. She was given a blood transfusion, had her tail amputated and it took her foster mum about a week to get rid of all the dead ticks from her body. We named her Blossom and promised her never to suffer ever again. The day this video was uploaded(September 2015) she was already healthy looking for her forever home. She has been reserved and will soon be united with her family. Hero Says Goodbye to Terminally Ill Bomb-Sniffing Dog in Heartbreaking Farewell

Hero Says Goodbye to Terminally Ill Bomb-Sniffing Dog in Heartbreaking Farewell

These are the last moments that Marine Corporal Jeff DeYoung will spend with his black lab and best friend, Cena. The 10-year-old bomb sniffing dog had to be euthanized because of an aggressive form of bone cancer, but not before getting a hero's send-off. The marine and dog were first paired back in 2009 in Afghanistan, when Cena was just 9-months-old and DeYoung was 19. Now Cena is too weak to walk, making it heartbreaking to watch Corporal DeYoung pull his pal along in a wagon.
