KUIU Hydrographic films feature innovative camouflaging technology. KUIU Vias and KUIU Verde have both received improvements to their design and are being released as new Water Transfer Printing films. KUIU Vias 2.0 features darker tan background colors, a second shade of gray, and elongating portions of black, which enhance contrast and break up your silhouette at greater distances. KUIU's objective in the Vias 2.0 update was to make the camouflage pattern more effective in a broader range of environments. KUIU Verde 2.0 features an added black coloring, a lighter gray hue, and an increase in the overall size of each color block. Sharp edges found throughout the pattern were rounded off in order to reduce an overly "digital" appearance. This provides Verde 2.0 with a more natural appeal in the field and ensures that the camouflage will not appear monochromatic at longer distances. As a result of these improvements, Vias 2.0 and Verde 2.0 will replace their older counterparts in all TWN hydrographic films. We know it can feel like time stands still when you're waiting for your gear to ship. So we sent over some of our office staff to help out at our distribution center, so we could get those big sale orders out to you more quickly. P.S. We did this at the end of the day, so it didn't affect anyone's order shipping on time. Please don't set the comment section on fire! P.P.S. Yes, we know we didn't use the "Black Beatles" song. That song is both filthy and terrible. You're welcome. www.kuiu.com

Jason overviews KUIU’s new technology behind insulated hunting gloves. These gloves are designed with advanced fabric and are some of the best cold weather hunting gloves available. Learn more at http://www.kuiu.com/hunting-gloves/ KUIU hunting gloves use a laminate product called OutDry. This technology solves the problem of traditional waterproof breathable gloves, which use a hung liner that allows the outer fabric to get wet and water to soak in. Traditional hunting gloves are poor performing and typically end up as a wet, soggy mess in rainy weather conditions. OutDry has the laminate inside the glove and expands it to where it bonds to the outer fabric. It functions like a shell glove and allows room for additional insulation - creating an insulated, waterproof and breathable glove that functions in wet weather. This technology is available in the Kenai and Northstar hunting gloves. The Kenai Glove is a mid to late season hunting glove - probably your most versatile glove in terms of weather and temperature ranges. It uses pittards leather through the palm and fingers, has a yukon face fabric with OutDry laminate technology and primaloft insulation. For later and colder hunts we created the North Star glove. This hunting glove uses OutDry laminate and a little more primaloft insulation than the Kenai Glove. It is incredibly comfortable and has great finger dexterity. By customers’ request, we created the Super Down Glassing Mitt. These hunting mittens are fantastic for early mornings and evenings when you’re sitting and glassing for long periods of time. They are very packable and lightweight, like all of our products.
