Justin A's video recap of Ironman 70.3 Wisconsin Madison 2018
This video was shot in Madison Wisconsin and is the tribute video for the 2017 Ironman Wisconsin produced by C26 Triathlon (Crushing Iron). Another incredible atmosphere in Madison, Wisconsin and the spectators came out in droves! Just a spectacular race venue. We've done a video every year starting in 2013 and they can all be found at www.crushingiron.com. C26 Triathlon has a bi-weekly triathlon podcast, coaches beginner to advanced athletes, and holds triathlon camps in Nashville Tennessee. All that information can be found on our website, www.crushingiron.com. The Crushing Iron Podcast is co-hosted twice a week by Mike Tarrolly and Robbie Bruce

The IRONMAN Wisconsin Course, from mass start, to hilly bike, to the crazy crowd support on the run. Both Mike and Robbie raced Wisconsin this year and they talk about why it's one of their favorite races along with: - The unparalleled crowd support - How to handle the Mass Swim Start - Little talked about challenges of the IMWI Swim - Strategies for handling the Bike - What people underestimate on the Bike Course - The Best and Worst of the Run Course - Why the IMWI Finish may be the best If you have any topics you'd like Crushing Iron to discuss, email us at: CrushingIron@gmail.com Be sure to Follow Crushing Iron on Facebook and Twitter for all things Ironman Triathlon.
This is a breakdown of the Transition Area at Ironman Wisconsin. We've raced here twice and have shot video for 3 others. The Ironman Wisconsin transition is a little different it's located in Monona Terrace in a Helix designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. You go inside the building for T1 and T2. We'll show you the flow of dropping your bags, to the crowds near the swim start race morning along with how to navigate from the water up the helix into transition. There are also comparative scenes to show you what these areas look like during the race. Here's to hoping Madison gets a break from the rain and this year's race goes off smoothly.
