A short film documenting Clare and Shaun Farrell's IRONMAN experience from the start line to the finnish, both athletes completed the race which consists of a 2.4 miles (3.9 km) swim, a bike ride of 112 miles (180 km), and a marathon run of 26.219 miles (42.195 km) under the allotted time (17 hrs) earning them both the IRONMAN title. Over £2000 was raised for Scope, a charity to help those that are disabled. Chrissie Wellington will be inducted into the Ironman Hall of Fame this evening. She joined us to talk about her career in Kona, including her final win in 2011, in which she overcame so much to have what she calls a perfect race, and one that defined her.
