INXS' "This Time" - karaoke singing by Alan Zingheim of MusicByAlan.com. Please note that I make no claims of ownership or authorship regarding this song or the background music, this is just a karaoke performance for entertainment purposes only. Recorded 05/07/2016. I really enjoy singing INXS's work and I've sung a lot of their songs and have even gone so far as to make my own instrumental backgrounds for some of their songs for which there are no karaoke versions of in existence just so I could sing the songs. If you're interested in hearing some of my other INXS singing performances and covers just search "Alan Zingheim INXS" here on YouTube and you'll see my other INXS work. My contact e-mail address is email@example.com I definitely will consider offers from bands who need a lead singer or other forms of musical collaboration, depending on what it involves. Usually it would need to involve pay in some form as life is generally expensive and people of all walks of life need to be compensated for their time. I also do live shows at bars and restaurants from time to time. I'm one of the most prolific musical artists on YouTube with over 1000 singing and instrumental videos of original songs, karaoke performances, songs in 5 languages and musical covers.
This is a special version/performance of this song: the lyrics are being read by a computer voice. This might be a help for people who can't understand the lyrics when they are being sung in the song itself, and who may suffer reading problems. It also provides a unique focus on the lyrics, without any possible distraction caused by music or by singing the text. Of course, I do not claim any rights on the lyrics. If you love the song, please support the artists by buying the original CD/Cassette or buying the song from iTunes or another provider.

INXS are an Australian rock band, formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales. Mainstays are Garry Gary Beers on bass guitar, Andrew Farriss on guitar/keyboards, Jon Farriss on drums, Tim Farriss on lead guitar and Kirk Pengilly on guitar/sax. For twenty years, they were fronted by Michael Hutchence on lead vocals, whose "sultry good looks" and magnetic stage presence made him the focal point of the band. Initially known for their New Wave/ska/pop style, they later developed a harder pub rock style, including funk and dance elements. In the early 1980s, INXS first charted in their native Australia with their debut self-titled album, but later garnered moderate success elsewhere with Shabooh Shoobah and a single, "The One Thing". Though The Swing brought more success from around the world, its single "Original Sin" was even greater commercially, becoming their first number-one single. They would later achieve international success with a series of hit recordings through later in the 1980s and the 1990s, including the albums Listen Like Thieves, Kick, and X; and the singles "What You Need", "Need You Tonight", "Devil Inside", "New Sensation", and "Suicide Blonde". In the 1990s, the band brought a new audience following Hutchence's romance with pop singer Kylie Minogue, and achieved greater acclaim in the UK However, starting with Welcome to Wherever You Are, in 1992, they achieved less success in the United States. Hutchence died in 1997 and INXS did not perform publicly for a year. The band made appearances with several guest singers including Jimmy Barnes, Terence Trent D'Arby, and Jon Stevens; Stevens formally joined the band for a tour and recording session in 2002. In 2005, members of INXS participated in a reality television series, broadcast worldwide, culminating in the selection of their new lead singer, Canadian J. D. Fortune, and the release of "Pretty Vegas" and "Afterglow" as singles, and its album Switch. In late 2010, they recorded and released Original Sin, a tribute album, featuring guest artists such as Kavyen Temperley (of Eskimo Joe) and Ben Harper. INXS has won six Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) awards including three for 'Best Group' in 1987, 1989 and 1992, and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001. To date INXS have sold more than 30 million records. (extract from Wikipedia 2011)
