The Showhawk Duo came into the Radio 1 Live Lounge with their acoustic guitars and bang out some classic Ibiza anthems for for Nick Grimshaw and the Radio 1 Breakfast Show audience. It was pretty amazing.

The Closing Party Megamix is the final megamix in DJ Hero 2's Empire mode and the longest / most difficult megamix. It is comprised of Firestarter, Welcome To Jamrock vs. Twist 'Em Out and Galvanize, and Galvanize is there in its entirety. This means that on top of the 60% of Firestarter and 85% of Welcome To Jamrock vs. Twist 'Em Out you will play, you will also sit through 100% of Galvanize. All 1900+ notes of it. Of course, next to my other accomplishments, I should be able to combo those three songs no problem. Well, except for Firestarter, but thankfully it ends before it becomes a crapfest. So, here we are - an 11 minute endurance test where I try not to miss any notes. Spoilers; I don't, but it's quite fun to watch. [EUPHORIA] A lot of the Euphoria in this run was a safety net. I can do 99% of the sections I used it on without it, but the risk of losing such a humongous combo was just too high so it was better for me to have it to fall back on. Honestly though, the very first Euphoria I used was to get me through that bitch of a transition from Firestarter (despite hitting it perfectly on a random attempt later on...without Euphoria). NOTE: I released the held taps because I didn't want to bork my combo by holding a tap and then having it register again, breaking my combo for no reason whatsoever. It also helps to silence those who think I've just gone and thrown the cheats on (yet, there are some who still think this is with cheats active, how low does your IQ have to be?). In addition to that, here's a bit of trivia; you might notice that the game stops keeping track of your combo after you hit the 2000 mark - probably because Galvanize is about 1950 all up and the developers thought people would combo that and be done with it. I think I went a little too heavy on the Euphoria with this one but I guess I wanted to play it safe. The transition during Firestarter is difficult because the spikes are out of sync with the taps so it's difficult to combo because it doesn't actually follow the mix properly. Everything else was just assistance. And, as the video title states, this is the longest streak in DJ Hero history, clocking in at 3874 total hits. No other megamix has more notes and no song alone has more hits available. This is THE longest combo that can be earned in DJ Hero 2. HIGHLIGHTS: 00:00 - Firestarter. 02:21 - Firestarter transitioning into Welcome To Jamrock vs. Twist 'Em Out. 02:45 - Welcome To Jamrock vs. Twist 'Em Out. 06:24 - Welcome To Jamrock vs. Twist 'Em Out transitioning into Galvanize. 06:26 - Galvanize. Another achievement worthy of the Kristoph legend. I hope you enjoy this little side project! More FC's coming later. Hey, if you liked the video, hit SUBSCRIBE for more DJ Hero videos! For the first time in its 120 year history, the BBC Proms welcomed Radio 1 to turn the hallowed Royal Albert Hall in to the euphoric madness of Ibiza. Pete Tong, Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra transformed dance classics in to orchestral masterpieces with the help of John Newman and Ella Eyre.
