Was great to see these guys again, such a good performance. Was fun to see the bass sax getting used in their set again. Encore will be up soon. Has the alto saxophonist from the Admirables, and the first opener (who I missed) back on stage. Apologies for the geisha-fan fan, and their geisha-fan being so thoroughly in the way part-way through the set. George Meyer, the Simpsons writer would refer to the giant hats and other crap people put on for concerts/festivals as “oppressive whimsy”; so it was nice to have a firsthand experience with that concept at least lol. Appreciate the band and their crew letting me film the show, and hang out with them so much. The kids from Big Blitz and their family were in the audience as well; was a lot of fun to talk with them and Mike during breakdown. He gave them some general direction on recording a new album and mastering. Makes me even more hyped for a full length record from them.
Hothshot Hobo, A greenhorns story. Shot and filmed in beautiful upstate New York on the CSX River Line, and various snippets from some time in the Midwest. The best ride I've ever taken in my short time as a freight train rider has got to be the CSX River Line, The Hudson River offers beautiful views and vistas along most of the entirety of the route, ending in Selkirk NY. For all the haters out there, don't worry, a full 60 minute freight hop extravaganza is on the way, so get your little troll fingers ready. For all the supporters, thank you, your support and interest keeps these tough excursions alive and thriving. Cheers- Stu The Jew
