Here I discuss the cultivation requirements for the triangle palm as well as where it grows in habitat in Madagascar. It has become a staple of the palm industry here in Florida in has a very unique look about it growing in three separate directions but distinct.
Here is a nice example of a hybrid that is becoming more common as the years go by. The triangle is the mother and the teddy bears the father and it is a fast grower with a little more cold hardiness. Definitely worth a try anywhere that a triangle will grow and possibly even one half zone colder!
