Dun Dun Dun Duuuun!! Sound Effect With Download Link! Due to over popular demand for this sound effect, I decided for myself that it is indeed too much of a hassle having to convert it and then download it. Instead, I've opted for a link to the infamous sound effect, as here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/65rj1e Give credit if used. Also, for those of you that want to play this sound effect on an instrument, I think that these are the notes (this is laid out for piano, but it can be transferred to other instruments): Treble: E flat | C | F sharp Bass: E flat | C | B | (while still playing F sharp in the treble, play a G in the bass after 3 beats) Edit: It's OVER 800000 VIEWS!! HOW HAS THIS VIDEO BECOME SO POPULAR?! Edit 2: HOLY SH*T - THOUGHT CATALOG LINKED TO MY VIDEO! Edit 3: OVER 1,000,000 VIEWS!! WE NEVER THOUGHT WE'D SEE THIS Edit 4: Wow at 1,762,116 & counting! Thanks everyone Edit 5: 1,920,020 views! not long till 2,000,000 now, can't believe it haha
All Editions of Windows Including Windows 1.0. The Sounds Start at Windows 3.1 and Continues to Windows 10.
Due to requests, I chose to update the original video of all the Windows sounds, as the original video only went as far as Vista/7. This video now includes the Windows 8 sounds. PLEASE NOTE: The Windows 8 sounds were actually ripped off a Windows 8 computer, so it is a complete listing. Do not go over me and say I duped sounds off Vista/7 to "fill in the gaps" of missing sounds.
Every single Mac startup sound including the Newton eMate and Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh from 1984 - 2003
All Windows 10 Sounds from the latest version of Windows.
All Windows XP Sounds...
Basically a fix from the old startups and shutdowns, but fake systems have been stripped out and the DOS-based systems have been included. The sounds have also been high-pitched (and I didn't get them off another video - I did them all in Audacity, which is why this is the first time the Plus! sounds in Windows 9x and Whistler sounds have been high-pitched (as in, it's in D-flat major).).
The original video on all the Windows sounds has been updated to include the Windows 8 sounds. There is a link as an annotation, but here is another link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6ZNUkeHztY However, I won't delete the old one for prosperity. And the reason that I have two shutdowns for Windows 95 is because in my videos on startups and shutdowns, I used the 3.1 tada sound. However, I remember using Windows 95 when I was five and recall hearing the Windows 95 tada sound when I shut the computer down. Also, please note that you willl have to listen hard for the Vista/7 sounds, so turn your volume up. I also don't know the sounds for Whistler, so they are not included. EDIT: It's OVER 100000 VIEWS!!! Keep it up, guys!
