Voice and guitar...you can add the other instruments with your fantasy! Sorry...I'm naked in this video...You know...too high temperature in my home...but, sorry women...I'm not completely naked... :-)
Jethro Tull's "Cup Of Wonder" off of their "Songs From The Wood" album. I've had this one sitting around for a while and thought I'd post it toward Austria's own Jackinart (a rabid Tull fan by all appearances) who recently posted a great cover of the song, "Songs From The Wood". One of the first "serious" bands I was in, Scepter (yeah I know - lame name), actually played this song. We played covers by Tull, Kansas, YES, RUSH, Styx, Genesis...oh yeah and to round out the set, some Bruce Springsteen, REO Speedwagon, AC/DC, Doors, Allman Brothers??? And I would wonder why the audience always looked perplexed. My friend Harry can corroborate this story. Anyway, another fine bass line played with a pick by John Glasscock whose clean, tight, midrangy sound I've always admired.

I'll make love to you in all good places under black mountains in open spaces. By deep brown rivers that slither darkly through far marches where the blue hare races. Come with me to the Winged Isle --- northern father's western child. Where the dance of ages is playing still through far marches of acres wild. I'll make love to you in narrow side streets with shuttered windows, crumbling chimneys. Come with me to the weary town --- discos silent under tiles that slide from roof-tops, scatter softly on concrete marches of acres wild. By red bricks pointed with cement fingers Flaking damply from sagging shoulders. Come with me to the Winged Isle --- northern father's western child. Where the dance of ages is playing still through far marches of acres wild.
