**Youtube Cello Tuner** is an interactive video designed to help you tune your instrument. Make sure you have your annotations turned on and then simple click the note you want to play. Change from "String" to "Sine" to change the note type. If you are on a mobile device you wont be able to use the annotations to change strings. I'd recommend instead downloading our free tuner app on iPhone, iPad, or Android (Google Play). iPhone https://itunes.apple.com/app/tuner+/id447600117?mt=8 iPad https://itunes.apple.com/app/tuner!/id447600653?mt=8 Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myindieapp.tuner I hope you enjoyed this video experiment. This video is for violin, viola, cello, and double bass beginners who need to tune their instruments by themselves. If your instrument goes out of tune between lessons, its valuable to be able to tune it so the music you practice sounds right. Links: http://TheStringClub.com The tuner I use in this video: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bork.dsp.datuna Another tuner I recommend: http://www.amazon.com/Korg-PITCHCLIP-Low-Profile-Clip-on-Tuner/dp/B004VVFZHW Notes on the video: "Flat" means the sound is too low. "Sharp" means too high. You can only tune like this if your strings are close to being in tune. If they are way off, you will need to use the pegs (except for basses). I will make another video for that because it is much more complicated and beginners often break strings trying to use the pegs. You need to know what the strings are called to tune properly: Thin string to thick: Violin: E5, A4, D4, G3 Viola: A4, D4, G3, C3 Cello: A3, D3, G2, C2 Bass: G2, D2, A1, E1 Please leave any questions in the comments below. Let me know if this video helped you or if you need some other explanations or demonstrations.
