"Left Forever" a filmed created by Caitlin Dean. It is her final major project for her Wildlife Media Degree @ the University of Cumbria. The film investigates the pressing issue of plastic pollution, specifically in the Atlantic Ocean and on the beaches of Cornwall, UK. The film features two incredibly knowledgeable marine experts; Dan Jarvis of BDMLR and Heather Koldeway of Surfers Against Sewage. Instead of focusing on the history of plastic the film looks much more into the future. Including archive material from world famous conservationists such as Sylvia Earle and Captain Paul Watson. This film contains a scene of animal entanglement that some viewers may find upsetting. I do not have the rights to the soundtracks used in this film, this film is for educational purposes and will not be used to make any money. The film is purely to spread awareness of plastic pollution and alternative ways of living. I know you can find it really difficult to keep your older children entertained when you are suffering Hyperemesis Gravidarum, so I have recorded a Christmas reading of How to be an HG Hero that you can play to them when you don't have the energy to read it yourself. They can read along with me, looking at the pictures as we go...
