Specialized Nursing Program Employment of registered nurses is expected to grow 26 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. Growth will occur primarily because of technological advancements, an increased emphasis on preventative care, and the large, aging baby-boomer population who will demand more healthcare services as they live longer and more active lives. The Nursing program seems to be one of the most difficult specialized programs to be admitted to, because the chances of being admitted to the Interior Design program is zero with it being taken out of the school completely. From those people that I have met, I was interested to discover how truly difficult it is to be admitted and what some of the requirements might be. Luckily, I knew people on both sides of the program; those who were trying to get in, and those who had been admitted. I decided to talk to both and see what they had to say about the program and its difficulty.

BYU-Idaho student, Eric Stoneman, gets his mission call and shares a few of his thoughts. Mingled with his reaction is a flash back to when he first recieved the call to serve in the Provo Utah Mission. The hardest part of the interview was keeping his attention away from the camera and the name "Brad." Apparently, that is a verbal tickle spot for him. He, and his sweetheart, Trina, are excited that he will be serving his mission so close to home.
This video was filmed by students at BYU Idaho and edited by myself for a Religion project. It was filmed to help show the importance of family history work in the gathering of Israel and how we can apply that to our lives here at BYU Idaho.
