Was sent a balalaika from Roosebeck after they saw me playing their harp in "Harp Metal." I tuned it, learned how to pronounce it and came up with this little tune. Ever since I picked up an acoustic balalaika at a thrift shop, I wanted to make a solid body electric one. I found a few examples of electric balalaikas online that gave me some ideas to get started. The scale is shorter than a normal (prima) balalaika, so it can be classified as piccolo size. The neck is made out of oak and the body is made out of pine. If you have any questions about the construction, make a comment and I'll get back to you.
