My name is David Duford from buylifeinsuranceforburial.com and today's video is to give you some inside information on Colonial Penn whole life insurance. I'm a life insurance agent that helps people just like yourself find life insurance that's gonna cover their final expenses, who wanted affordably --and the key-- to make sure that its of good value as well. And the truth about Colonial Penn --and their whole life insurance product-- will probably shock. But that's the reason why I’m doing this video, because I've literally sat down with hundreds of people who have had Colonial Penn and by simple showing them some of the fine print, they've been shocked to see how the Colonial Penn product was not in their best interests. So let me explain. Colonial Penn does what's a called a guaranteed issue life insurance product. If you watch their commercial with Alex Trebek or your read some of their sales material you'll notice it'll always say guaranteed acceptance, we don't ask you any health questions and they make it sound like it’s a selling point, that's it to your advantage. Well what they say is to your advantage, is not actually to your advantage. Here's the reason why. If you think about it, you've probably heard the phrase you never get something for nothing. You know and in the life insurance business for final expenses you’re not gonna get the best value if people don't know your health. Now you may have health problems if you’re listening to this but that still doesn't mean you can't get a better value. What Colonial Penn wants to convince you of is their whole life product is the best thing. It's the cat’s meow as my mom would say. And so here's the problem with the product. Guaranteed issue means they don't ask you any health questions. Which means they don't know if you’re on your death bed, if you have a few issues like maybe COPD or diabetes or maybe had a heart attack years ago, or if you're perfectly healthy. Point is, they take everybody and anybody who expresses interest and assumes the worst. Life insurance companies are designed to make money, and assume the worst. OK. And the way they do that --here's the catch-- is they do not cover you for natural causes fully for the first two years of your insurance that you pay for it. Which means if you die within the first two years of natural causes, they will not pay the full death claim. They will refund your money to your beneficiary plus seven percent interest --which mathematically is not a lot of money. So, why is this a problem? Well look...if you’re like me, we don't know when we're gonna die. Now I sell life insurance and I have been shocked by people that I've sold insurance to who are now gone --who were otherwise perfectly healthy --that died within the first two years. I can think of a gentleman --actually two in Georgia-- one who is in perfect shape when he took it out at 70 and then he discovered he had brain cancer a year later and died within two to three months. It was such a sad occasion but if he had Colonial Penn they wouldn't have paid the twenty thousand dollars in death claims that were paid out. I had another gentleman the same deal. Six months after he took the plan out, perfectly healthy --had some issues very long time ago-- he died. Had he had Colonial Penn --or any of these other guaranteed issue companies-- he would not have had the coverage left to his family and his wife. That's the key. Because if you're looking for some type of life insurance product, I think that you know that deep down you want to get the best of value. Not just the good price and the key is to get as much coverage as quickly as possible as well as get it for the best price. If this is something that you didn't know about that you're not wanting to get now --I hope not-- and you wanna try to find and work with somebody whose gonna give you the best value, I highly encourage you to step over to my website. It's buylifeinsuranceforburial.com. There I've got more information on insurance products. If you go down here at the bottom of the video, there's a link you can click to. http://www.BuyLifeInsuranceForBurial.com/ - Call 888-626-0439 for a personalized, no-obligation quote! My name is David Duford from buylifeinsuranceforburial.com and today I'm doing a very quick video on Colonial Penn life insurance review. You've probably found this video in doing some research whether you're the child of a parent or you’re a senior looking for some sort of life insurance to cover you in the case of an untimely passing. And what this video is going to serve to do is give you some good sight and education on how Colonial Penn works from the perspective of life insurance. I myself am a life insurance agent. I specialize in working with different companies and I know all these companies very well. I have over fifteen hundred people insured; I've been in business for five years. And Colonial Penn --to be simply blunt with you despite the amount of money that's spent of Colonial Penn, despite the amount of in advertising and the endorsements by the Jeopardy guy, Alex Trebek-- Colonial Penn specializes and leads with what's called guaranteed acceptance life insurance. If you listen to the commercial Alex Trebek talks about the fact that you'll never have a physical, you're rates never go up, you're coverage never goes down --all of this is true. But the thing that is not explained is right there in the fine print, as I tell my clients. Is that you're not covered for two years. You've heard right. If you die within the first two years of any Colonial Penn --well I'll say any Colonial Penn plan-- but the guaranteed acceptance plan, only what you've paid in plus 7% interest is refunded back. I'll give ya a couple of examples. Like I've said I've done a lot of business in the burial insurance market place and you hear all sorts of stories. The one in particular that stands out with me is when I first started. My very first policy that I sold was to a gentleman whose father had Colonial Penn. He had explained to his children that he had insurance enough to bury him, that there was no need to be concerned with coming out of pocket to pay for anything. He had passed away unexpectedly from a stroke --about twelve months later-- and to the chagrin of the brothers who was bereaved, he didn't have the coverage that their father explained to them. His father simply didn't understand his Colonial Penn plan was a two year wait product. So the brothers only got back four-five hundred dollars and had to mortgage their house to actually pay to put their father in the ground. It was a sad scenario. But unfortunately, it’s very common. I mention this because guaranteed acceptance --when I explain it to my clients-- is something that's good if there are no other options. It is the nuclear option, okay? For lack of a better instruction. If you can't find insurance anywhere else, you can't get insured anywhere else. If you've tried it and you've exhausted all of your options, Colonial Penn is fine. But the truth is most people can do a lot better than Colonial Penn can offer. Even if you've had a history of heart problems, cancer problems, lung problems, diabetes --you name it-- even things like Parkinson’s or Lubrex disease or mental health issues --all of these issues can give some kind of-there's a company out there that will get you first day full coverage. And the important thing to remember is you wanna talk to an agent that will help you find the best price plan, that will give you the ability to get you coverage that will be, in effect, if not partially, completely from the first day. And at buylifeinsuranceforburial.com that's what I do. If you're interested in getting a quote that will cover you --hopefully. I mean, at least research them to see if you can be covered and the odds are you can. Go to my comments down here, or type in the website you see at the bottom, buylifeinsuranceforburial.com, and that will take you to my website and please take your the time to submit a quote. No pressure what so ever. To at least empower you to see to make sure you're gonna get the best deal possible.
