Call us today 972-885-9277 and ask about our Blended Learning program with the AHA. The American Heart Association now offers blended learning courses that we can take advantage of. With Sweet Heart to Heart we can take of your skills check off. Here's what you do Step one: You take a portion of the course on-line, then make an appointment with us at 972-885-9277 Once you have made an appointment we will asses your CPR skills so that you can receive your CPR certification. The on-line portion is basically two hours and the in-person skills test takes about one hour. If you have searched for a CPR class on the Internet, you’ve probably seen ads for on-line only CPR classes costing $19.95. Stay away from these! These are not AHA courses. Most places are not going to accept an on-line only course. And they shouldn’t. You need to practice the skills used to save a life, rather than only reading about the skills. The Blended course is mainly a time efficient way to learn. Blended learning has been validated by the American Heart Association as an acceptable method of becoming certified. This online/hands-on learning hybrid is acceptable across nearly all companies and occupations and is quickly becoming the preferred method to certify. CPR-AED Blended Learning Option CPR AED Card AHA Heartsaver card issued after Skills Session We offer the Heartsaver® program that includes the fundamental concepts of providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course is designed for participants who are not healthcare providers and who would like to gain the basic skills needed that might save a life in the case of sudden cardiac arrest. This course is open to all participants, and does not require any prior medical knowledge or healthcare background. Our course covers treatment of children and infants as well, making this the ideal course for virtually anyone who may deal with others in an emergency situation at home, work, or while traveling. The course also meets or exceeds the requirements of many insurance companies that require basic training in CPR in the workplace.
